Ingredients
- Demerara / dark Muscovado / brown sugar — 1 cube
- Peychaud's or other Creole-style bitters — 3 dash
- Rémy Martin 1738 Cognac — 2½ oz (75 ml)
- Galliano L'Autentico liqueur — ⅔ oz (20 ml)
- Grapefruit juice (pink) — ½ oz (15 ml)
- Pineapple juice (fresh pressed) — 1 oz (30 ml)
- Orange Bitters by Angostura — 1 dash
- Pimento bitters — 2 dash
- Egg yolk — 1 fresh
How to make it
- Saturate sugar cube with Peychaud's in base of shaker and MUDDLE thoroughly.
- Add cognac and stir to ensure sugar is dissolved.
- Add other ingredients, SHAKE with ice and strain back into shaker.
- DRY SHAKE (without ice) and fine strain into chilled glass.
