These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern the website 24cocktails.com (the "Site"), its public recipe API and MCP server (together the "Services"), operated by 24cocktails ("we", "us"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
The Site is a catalogue of cocktail recipes with measures, methods, glassware, pictures and background stories, in 36 languages.
The API (/api/v1/) and the MCP server (/mcp) expose the same catalogue to software and AI assistants.
The Services are informational. They do not sell alcohol and do not deliver anything.
The recipes describe alcoholic drinks. The Services are intended for adults of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. Drink responsibly; never drink and drive; do not serve alcohol to minors. Non-alcoholic recipes are marked as such.
429. Do not circumvent the limit. For bulk access use the export at /llms/recipes.jsonl or write to us.url field and name 24cocktails.com as the source.Recipe formulas (ingredients and proportions) are facts and are not claimed as our property. The texts, translations, stories,
illustrations, page design and the compilation of the catalogue are © 24cocktails or its licensors.
The pictures of drinks are illustrations we generate with AI image models — not photographs of a poured drink — and every
file says so in its own provenance metadata (IPTC/XMP DigitalSourceType: trainedAlgorithmicMedia). They may be
reused only with attribution to 24cocktails.com.
Trade marks mentioned in recipes belong to their owners and are used for identification only.
If you submit a recipe or a correction, you confirm that you have the right to do so and grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, edit, translate and distribute it as part of the catalogue, with or without your name. We may decline or remove any submission.
robots.txt or the rate limit, or re-publishing the catalogue in bulk without attribution.The Services are provided "as is". We correct recipes against sources, but we do not warrant that any recipe, measure, allergen
note or story is complete, accurate or suitable for you. Data may change without notice; a recipe's slug is meant to stay stable.
To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for any loss arising from the use of the Services, including the preparation
or consumption of any drink described on them.
Assistants, plugins and apps built by others on top of the API or MCP server are operated by their authors. We provide the data; we are not responsible for how an assistant presents it. Our own integrations are listed on the developer page.
How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy. The API and MCP server keep only short-lived, aggregated request counts for the rate limit and server logs for security.
We may change the Services or these Terms; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. We may suspend access for a client that breaches these Terms.
