How it is made

Ketel One Vodka is made from a blend of European wheat, which is distilled in small batches using traditional pot stills. The distillation process is followed by a meticulous filtration process to ensure the vodka's purity and smoothness. The final product is then bottled at 40% ABV.

History

The Nolet Distillery has a rich history dating back to 1691, making it one of the oldest distilleries in the Netherlands. Ketel One Vodka was introduced in the 1980s by the Nolet family, who aimed to create a vodka that embodied their family's long-standing tradition of quality and craftsmanship. The name 'Ketel One' refers to the original copper pot still used in the distillation process.

In cocktails

Bartenders often use Ketel One Vodka in a variety of cocktails, from classic martinis to modern mixed drinks. Its smooth profile allows it to be enjoyed neat or on the rocks, but it shines in cocktails where its subtle flavors can be highlighted. For serving, it is recommended to chill the vodka before use to enhance its refreshing qualities.
