- Straight rye whiskey (100 proof / 50% alc./vol.) — 30 ml
- Martini Rosso sweet vermouth — 30 ml
- Bénédictine D.O.M. — 15 ml
- La Fée Parisienne absinthe — 5 ml
- Peychaud's or other Creole-style bitters — 2 dash
- Chilled water (omit if using wet ice) — 15 ml

- STIR all ingredients with ice.
- Strain into chilled glass.
- Garnish with Luxardo Maraschino cherry.
