  1. In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine lime juice, sugar, gin, and bitters.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Almost fill a cooling glass with ice cubes.
  4. Stir until the glass is frosted.
  5. Strain the mixture from the shaker into the glass.
  6. Add club soda.
