- Havana Club 3 Year Old rum — 45 ml
- Espresso coffee (freshly made & hot) — 30 ml
- Sugar syrup (65.0°brix, 2 sugar to 1 water rich syrup) — 10 ml
- Difford's Saline Solution (or ½ pinch salt) (optional) — 2 drop
