A classic cocktail with cognac and bitters.

- Rémy Martin 1738 Cognac — 60 ml
- Sugar syrup (65.0°brix, 2 sugar to 1 water rich syrup) — 7.5 ml
- Angostura Aromatic Bitters — 1 dash

- STIR all ingredients with ice.
- Strain into ice-filled glass.
- Preferably over a chunk of block ice.
