- Chilled water — 60 ml
- Straight rye whiskey (100 proof / 50% alc./vol.) — 30 ml
- Bourbon whiskey — 30 ml
- Martini Rosso sweet vermouth — 20 ml
- Cherry Heering cherry brandy liqueur — 15 ml

- Separately, STIR other ingredients in stirring glass.
- Discard absinthe and strain into absinthe-rinsed glass.
