- Basil leaves (thai) — 7 fresh
- Bacardi Carta Blanca light rum — 30 ml
- Bacardi Carta Blanca light rum (infused with vanilla) — 30 ml
- Lime juice (freshly squeezed) — 22.5 ml
- Grapefruit juice (pink) — 15 ml
- Sugar syrup (65.0°brix, 2 sugar to 1 water rich syrup) — 15 ml

- MUDDLE pepper in base of shaker.
- Add other ingredients, SHAKE with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.
- Strain into a chilled glass.
