A classic cocktail with rye whiskey and Fernet.

- Rye whiskey (90 proof / 45% alc./vol.) — 50 ml
- Fernet liqueur — 7.5 ml
- Sugar syrup (65.0°brix, 2 sugar to 1 water rich syrup) — 10 ml
- Chilled water (omit if using wet ice) — 10 ml
