A cocktail with mezcal and cherry brandy.

- Del Maguey VIDA mezcal — 40 ml
- Cherry Heering cherry brandy liqueur — 30 ml
- Beetroot juice — 40 ml
- Lime juice (freshly squeezed) — 30 ml
- Sugar syrup (65.0°brix, 2 sugar to 1 water rich syrup) — 5 ml
- *Special ingredient #1 (see above) — 1⁄12 fresh

- Shake all ingredients with ice.
- Strain into chilled glass.
- Garnish with orange zest and lemon balm leaves.
