- Look for prickly pear juice in specialty and natural food markets.
- Lime wedge
- Sugar and salt
- 1/2 oz silver tequila — 1
- ml Tuaca — 1
- 1 oz prickly pear juice — 1
- 1 oz fresh lime juice — 1
- Lime peel spiral

- Rim chilled margarita or large cocktail with sugar (first rub rim with lime wedge) and salt.
- Shake liquid ingredients with ice.
- Strain into the prepared glass, and garnish with the lime peel spiral.
