- Bulleit Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (45%) — 45 ml
- Angostura Aromatic Bitters — 4 drop
- Triple sec liqueur (40%) — 1 Splash
- Demerara / dark Muscovado / brown sugar — 1 spoon
- Chilled water — 1 Splash

- Place a tsp of sugar into the glass with a splash of water, stir into a syrup then add bitters.
- Add triple sec, stir and add ice.
- Pour in bourbon and stir.
